Using a collaborative approach when necessary, I create an intervention team that can include the school, as well as speech and occupational therapists to maximize your child’s potential. I have a range of toys appropriate for various developmental levels. During our time together, your child may be engaged in games of peek-a-boo or hide-and-seek, pretend play, creating arts and crafts, using online games, writing, or talking; together, we embark on building a therapeutic relationship. I listen and observe carefully, help develop the play themes, and foster change and understanding through my relationship with your child and you, the parents.

I offer adolescents a safe comfortable space to share their worries. We create a sanctuary from the tribulations of adolescent angst. Together we will work towards building a trusting relationship and I will suggest alternate ways of thinking about situations. I provide fresh perspectives and empowering tools which can be transformative.

As children experience increased successes at home and/or in school, they begin to flourish and feel much better about themselves. They arrive in my office highly anxious and socially unsuccessful, stumbling from one difficult situation to another and after intensive, consistent work with me, it can be hard to tell that they ever had those challenges.
